The
2011 Camperdown Cruise: The 2011 Cruise will be held on Friday 21st October - Sunday 23rd October 2011, throughout the historic tree lined main street of Camperdown, taking in the town’s iconic clocktower, historic buildings and the grand old dame, the restored Theatre Royal.

this 2011 Camperdown Cruise Rockabilly Weekend · Live Rockabilly / Rock 'n Roll music by 12 bands - |
· Two dances at the historic Theatre Royal, including a traditional 50’s diner menu on the Friday night; · Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing by the Colac Rockers with dance displays and beginner dance lessons for you and your partner; · Rock ‘n’ roll dance competitions for the more experienced to live music; · Art exhibitions and your chance to get involved through joining the Kustom Lane art exhibition and/or our pin-striping workshop; · Marcus Thorn heavily involved in the Hot Rod & Low Brow art scene, fast becoming one of the most highly respected tiki carvers in the world. He takes pride in customizing each piece so that no two are alike. Marcus is known for his hand carved gear shifts. He gets a real kick out of creating intricate designs that personalizes the rides for his clients. · Paul Hughes a Melbourne based artist his style is definately old school, Nothing but Brush, Sweat and Tears... Oh and Acrylic Paint. His paintings are Influenced heavily by 50´s, 60´s and 70´s pop culture. He is best known for his Shrunken heads, Kustom, Hot Rod and Tiki style paintings. |

· Custom, classic car and hot rod displays;
· Fashion parades Vintage men’s and women’s fashion parades throughout the weekend;
· A new scenic cruise route, plus the traditional cruise to Model Barn;
· Chapel Of Love... The 2011 Cruise will host its very first actual wedding! Jason and Michelle will tie the Rockabilly Knot at the Clock tower stage 1pm Saturday 22nd by an Elvis Celebrant, everyone is welcome to witness this special event.
